Tina - a flamenco narrative (original oil painting on stretched canvas)

An original oil painting with a narrative flamenco theme. Although commonly associated with joy, bright colours and (perhaps) holidays, flamenco narratives traditionally tell of suffering, injustice and even death. Tina's narrative may be more personal but the origins of flamenco lie in the stories and migration of Romani people who experienced persecution in Andulucia.
