As a guide, a typical commissioning process would be:

•  You contact me with your ideas or request, providing as much information as possible about the subject, size, timescale, etc. Don't worry if you don't have a totally clear vision, this can be developed as part of the discussion.

• Once we have agreed the details and cost, I will request a 50% non-refundable* deposit to cover costs. 

• I will keep you updated on progress and provide a photograph of the completed work (or at any key stages if there are further decisions to be made).

• Once completed and when you are happy, I'll request the balance of payment and dispatch or deliver the work as previously agreed.

• I will follow up all commissions after delivery to ensure that you are completely happy with your purchase.

* If the subject and nature of the commission would make it saleable (and only if agreed with you) a deposit may be returned if you are not happy with a work, if the work could then be reasonably made available for sale. This can be agreed/confirmed when the nature of the commission is agreed.
